Every time I look at my feet, I just don’t like them. Honestly, I want to learn to like them, but it’s really difficult to fall in love with my tiny size 5 feet. If they were just small in size that would okay. That’s cute, but bunions have ruined my feet’s appearance for many years. If I can describe it, my feet almost look like raw ginger with a bump here and there because of silly bunions. Bunions make feet look so unflattering. Especially if you want to wear sexy open toe high heels/ sandals.

A little bit about bunions. They are an enlargement of bone or tissue around the joint at the base of the big toe. If you have a bunion, you will notice a bump on your big toe joint. The big toe may turn in toward the second toe, and the tissues surrounding the joint may be swollen and tender.

One afternoon, I went to take my husband to a doctor. I was reading a few magazines in the doctor’s waiting room. I stumbled upon an advertisement about yoga toes. Actually, I have been tempted to do foot surgery to have my bunion removed a few years ago. I have already had a daydreaming about how cute my small feet look like after surgery. The result of the foot surgery will be perfect and faster. But I heard that “the after” surgery recovery indeed is really painful. You can’t walk freely for a few weeks. Besides that, it’s quite expensive. I confess I don’t actually know how much bunion surgery costs. Even though we have fairly good insurance, I doubt the insurance will pay for bunion removal.

I looked for some yoga toes reviews on the Internet. Based on the reviews, 90% of yoga toes users said they are really satisfied with yoga toes.
I love doing yoga, I know in yoga “practice makes perfect”. At the very first time I did yoga, I couldn’t even bow and kiss my knee. Because of regular practising, now my body is really flexible. I can bend it like a cobra snake dancer If I want
The principal of yoga toe is similar to doing yoga for your body. You actually teach the foot muscle and bones/joints.

Based on the positive reviews about yoga toes, I decided to gave it a try. My husband was so skeptical about yoga toes that can fix bunions. He said ” impossible.” I know the result is not as instant as when you do a surgery. But at least it is a lot cheaper than a surgery. Besides that, it’s less less less painful. If yoga toes don’t work then surgery will be my last option.

Last month, I ordered my yoga toes online at www.yogapro.com. I tried to find it on eBay but decided not to buy on eBay even though the price was a bit cheaper. The reason I bought it at Yoga pro (even though the price a little bit higher) is because they give 90 days money back guarantee. I thought I’d try it for 3 months. If nothing happen I’d send it back to them and get my money back.

I bought a package called Mani/Pedi kit for $60 with free shipping. Together with this package, I got Lemon Butter Cuticle Creme (.30 oz) , – Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme (.25 oz) , – Hand Salve (.30 oz), – Coconut Foot Creme (.56 oz), – Shea Butter Hand Repair Cream (.50 fl oz) , – Beeswax and Banana Hand Creme (.30 oz) , – Honey Lip Balm (.15 oz), – Cozy Cotton Socks in this package. Not bad huh? Yoga toes itself comes in several different colors. I picked pink.

I got my yoga toes 7 days after I ordered them online. I couldn’t wait to try them on. The first time it was really uncomfortable wearing them. I wore them just for an hour everyday. Gradually, from an hour I could wear them for 5 hours. Now I can wear them a whole day while I work at my desk. I even can walk when wearing them, well, walking like a cave woman of course. They are not easy to walk with because yoga toes aren’t designed for walking I guess. I’ve just been silly and lazy to remove them from my feet; that’s why I walk around the house with my yoga toes. My husband always laughs at me. He said it’s not sexy at all.

After a month, I saw a slight change in my feet. I was eager to speed up the process, then 2 weeks ago I started wearing them at night. I sleep in with yoga toes on my feet. My husband was shocked when one night in the dark he rubbed my fingers. They are rough and big. He asked me “why you have all toes in your hand, honey?”, wua aaaha ha…. gotcha!! “that’s my yoga toe”, I said.

Here’s how I wear them to sleep. I put on my yoga toe then cover it with loose socks so that yoga toes won’t move. I have seen a lot of improvement since I tried this trick. Based on my experience, yoga toes really work. The result is not instant, of course. It just needs a little bit practice, patience and discipline. Again that’s the yoga principle, isn’t it?

Also, I think yoga toes are really good for your legs. I used to have bruises all over my legs every time I walk, now since I wear yoga toes regularly, I noticed my bruises were gone. I think they fixed my poor leg circulation. Now wherever I go, my yoga toes faithfully go with me. My legs and feet are smiling all the time because of yoga toes. Thanks yoga toes. Even though my toes still look like ginger, but I hope one day, from the ginger shape they will turn to be a cute carrot shape.

If you have experience with yoga toes, please share with us! We like to hear that………

by Andrew Gates
With all the changes in technology and program content, buying a tv set is not as simple as it once was. While it is easy to be tempted to buy the one that looks prettiest in the advertisement or on the showroom floor, it’s not always the best fit for your circumstances. The following will help you make a better informed decision, and using Myshopping.com.au you can make detailed comparisons between set sizes, different technology, brands and vendors.

TVMeasure where you will be watching.

It’s important that the set you buy will fit in the space where you want to put it, and that it’s visible from where you want to sit. Therefore, it makes good sense to measure the space where the set will go. You need to measure the width, the height and the depth of the space, so that you can choose a set that will sit comfortably in that space, with sufficient ventilation and edge space for installation and cleaning. You should also measure the distance to your cable socket if you have an external aerial, and be sure to allow sufficient space for rear panel audio and video cable connections so that they can be easily connected and disconnected.

Getting the right sized screen is a balance between the dimensions of the room and your viewing habits, and your choice of technology. A regular tv has a screen aspect ration of 4:3, (that is, the dimensions are four units wide by three units high) and its size is given as a diagonal measure across the screen. The most comfortable viewing range for a regular tv is to be a distance away from the screen that is three to six times its given size. For example, a 48cm regular tv is best viewed further away than 116 cm and closer than 232 cm.

Watching high-resolution DVD and digital TV on a wide screen set however, provides much sharper images than regular sets, and this means you can sit closer and experience a more immersive, theatre-like picture. With a wide-screen tv, you can sit as close as 1.5 times the screen’s diagonal measurement and not notice any loss in quality. Sitting farther away than three times the screen however, means you’re likely to miss out on the immersive ‘theatre’ feel, even though image-wise, the sharper pictures will be clearer from a greater distance. Conversely, what this means, is that for the same given room space, you can install a significantly larger tv if it’s wide screen. So in today’s market, you are faced with one major deciding factor:

Regular TV or Wide Screen

While the regular tv dimensions are 4:3 (see above), a wide-screen set has an aspect ratio of 16:9 (16 units wide, 9 units high) and this is the same shape as many cinema screens and movies. Wide-screen sets are more expensive per square cm of screen than a regular tv, and more regular TV is watched than DVDs and movies, so 4:3 sets continue to be a popular choice. However standards a re changing rapidly and almost all digital, flat-panel and rear-projection tvs are wide screen. While television stations frequently broadcast many movies in digital/wide screen format, a large amount of station-produced content is in regular format, but this too is changing. So it makes some sense to seriously consider wide screen.

Either way, there is some compromise to consider because one rectangle doesn’t fit exactly into another. Wide-screen program shown on a standard tv has black bars, known as letterbox bars, above and below the wide-screen image. The alternative to this is to sacrifice some of the picture at each edge of the screen, and get the full depth of the picture. When you watch a program formatted for regular tv on a wide screen, black bars, known as windowbox bars, appear on either side of the picture. One alternative to this is to lose some picture at the top and bottom of the screen.

But one of the features of a wide-screen tv, is the ability to stretch, crop, or zoom the regular 4:3 image so that it fills the screen, ultimately distorting the image or losing some of its content.

Picture Quality, Audio Quality, Connectivity

Using an online shopping comparison such as Myshopping.com.au doesn’t give you the personal feel of looking at the tv set on the showroom floor. However, once you’ve narrowed down your choices according to size and manufacturer specification, it may pay to look at some sets so you can judge picture quality for yourself.

So what makes a good picture? One of the first considerations is contrast: in order to have clear sharp and bright pictures, the screen itself must be dark. Screens that are two ‘green’ or ‘grey’ will not produce high definition images. Do this with any surrounding televisions turned off and an even light in the room.

A second consideration is the flatness of the picture tube. If you are looking at an LCD or Plasma screen, this is already flat, but with picture tube technology, flatter tubes result in less glare from windows and lamps, and less shape distortion. A flat tube screen will give you a better viewing experience.

If a tv doesn’t have a comb filter, its resolution will be limited to about half the full potential of a DVD. While comb filters affect only composite-video or RF connections, sets with a comb filter can usually provide all of the resolution of DVD and will not have distracting ‘rainbow’ images where highly contrasting colours coincide. Comb filters include glass, digital, and 3DY, and different types provide different levels of quality, but ultimately, it’s better to have one than not.

Digital and High Definition TV means that the ability for a tv to display a progressive scan image is also factor that affects picture quality. A progressive scan image is a feature of digital tv broadcasting and DVD imaging with a more film-like look to it than normal video.

For optimum television watching, you need to consider the quality of the sound too. It is now quite common for people to integrate tv and hi-fi equipment into a more complete home entertainment system, giving a more dynamic home theatre experience. Digital and High Definition tv and DVD, sound quality is similar to that of CDs, so it makes sense that audio connectivity allows you to connect into surround sound or other hi quality sound systems. It’s worthwhile to check to see that the tv has a least one set of stereo audio inputs and one set of stereo audio outputs, as well as video input and output connectors. On the input side, check for RCA-composite, S-Video, and component video inputs. You can frequently find an additional set of audio and video inputs and/or outputs on the front or at the side of the tv, a very convenient location for more temporary connections, such as game consoles, web tv or video camera equipment. It can be terribly inconvenient if you are limited to only connections at the rear of the set, or only one set of inputs and outputs, which can often mean unplugging and reconnecting permanently installed equipment.

If you are intending to use a set-top digital receiver, make sure the tv has the correct connections, and that they are compatible with the receiver equipment. Using Myshopping.com.au you can search through a great number of brands for the correct specifications. Ideally such connections should be made with Fire Wire, DVI-D with HDCP or HDMI connectors.

Plasma or LCD

While there are still quality CRT televisions (tube style) being manufactured, the current television technology being pursued by manufacturers is Plasma High Definition or LCD (Liquid Crystal Display). The main advantages these two technologies offer includes the smaller space taken up (mostly in depth) for a bigger picture, less heat (and therefore less electricity consumed) generated for a bigger picture and the appearance of compactness through digital technology. But what are the differences?

In the Plasma tv over a million tiny glass cells are charged with a mixture of neon and xenon, behind which are coloured phosphors that emit light when energized. Each cell has a red, blue and green phosphor. When Plasma cells are charged, they emit invisible UV light. that strikes the red, green and blue phosphors on the back of the display, creating the pixels that form the image you see on the screen. LCD however, is a suspended liquid between two transparent panels that, when activated by voltage, re-position themselves so that they either allow the light to pass through the panel and or block the light, a similar process to turning on and off millions of light bulbs. The light source is provided by fluorescent tubes behind the panels. Both the lit and unlit crystals create visible pixels composing the image on the screen.

Many independent reviewers believe that manufacture’s specifications of Plasma tv is not accurately portrayed. LCD appears to be both brighter and offer more contrast, whereas Plasma appears to have higher definition colour, superior viewing angles and faster response time providing crisper screen movement. Plasma uses more power than LCD, but may provide a more theatre-like viewing experience. Use Myshopping.com.au to compare the latest brands of Plasma and LCD televisions.

Remote Controllers and Accessories

All tv sets come with remote controls. Some come with what’s known as the Universal remote control, a remote control that can control all of your media hardware. The remote control should be easy to use and it should address all of the tv set’s functions. Many sets do not have function controls on the tv itself, which could cause problems if the remote controller is lost. Also, not every universal remote can control everything. Most are pre-programmed with a set list of codes, and if the codes don’t match your older or off-brand gear, then you’re out of luck. A few are learning models that can accept the IR codes from your other remotes and, thus, control any kind of gear.

A number of other features can be taken into account when considering your tv purchase. These might include picture-in-picture (PIP), or picture-outside-picture (POP), commercial skip timers, channel blocking (called the V-Chip), and tuner extras to make channel selection and switching easier. Additional accessories that you might need include additional cables, a good power surge protector and a stand. Service may also be a consideration and in some circumstances, an extended warranty or service package may be a good investment.

Search Myshopping.com.au for the different specifications and price ranges of the latest tv technology, where you not only compare the world’s leading brands, but also the service and support of the people who sell them.

By Suzana Rowland

Lying on the couch is my favorite thing to do in the morning and afternoon. After taking my hubby to the door, I give him my right & left kiss, followed by tiny bitty spanks on his butt; I run toward my comfy couch and start watching the learning kid cartoon on the TLC channel. The cartoon title is ?Magic School Bus.? Isn?t that funny that I, being an adult, learn a lot from that cartoon. I get a lot of simple lessons that I?ve never gotten in school before, or, hmm? maybe I?ve heard, but forgotten.

This time, I want to talk about the paid program that I watched on TV a week ago. Usually, I am anti-advertisement, because as we know, many ads are full of promising and sweet-talk. But this paid program was different. It attracted me very much. Like the words ?nice things come in small packages, ? this small tool called the ?Magic Bullet? made me continuing listening intently. The first welcoming words sound something like this ?Congratulations on your purchase of the Magic Bullet, the personal versatile counter top magician that works like magic.? Unlike bulky blenders and unwieldy food processors that most of us only pull out of storage for specific recipes and special occasions, the Magic Bullet seemed so handy, so versatile and easy to use that you?ll put it to work every single day (probably several times a day).Â

I love to cook Asian foods and chili peppers (often the base ingredient) and some other spices that I need to soften first before I cook. I have a ?Kitchen Aid? blender that our aunt gave us for our wedding gift, but it?s quite big for me to use it everyday, especially when trying to soften 5-10 curly chili peppers. I did this one time using my Kitchen Aid blender, but I couldn?t get my soft chili peppers back. How can I describe it, oh yeah, it?s like when you eat corn on the cobb and some tiny pieces of corn leave spaces in your teeth like Christmas ornaments on a Christmas tree. It?s difficult to remove them with your fork: D and you need a dental floss to remove them. It works the same if I soften my chili peppers in my bulky blender. They?re just stacked in the blade. Then, I?m back to the traditional way doing it manually (I don?t say using traditional tools are bad, instead those can be good, useful and cheap tools). The benefit of using a traditional grinder is, first you can shape your arm muscles, second when you soften the onion you can practice your theatrical talents at the same time. Onions make it so easy to cry and for absolutely no reason; you just need to add your lip motion to make your crying seem really sad (seems my hubby does that some times).

When I saw the Magic Bullet on TV, I was jumping around like a small girl getting her first Barbie. This is my dream come true, I said to myself. But I didn?t like the price; it was too expensive. Although, I really wanted to buy the Magic Bullet so bad, my frugal instinct was still working with full force, no error or damage. I thought, that?s their first advertisement on TV; that?s why it?s so expensive. It was just like other TV ads that always say ?not available in stores?bla..bla..bla.

Well, tuing tuing tuing my frugal button called me ?why don?t try on eBay first?. Amazingly, ?well, not really amazing because you know that we can find everything on eBay nowadays.
I found a few new ones on eBay and the prices were a lot cheaper than the TV ads. I bought one and a week after my Magic Bullet came right to my door. Now life is so wonderful with my Magic Bullet; I can even whistle while making my apple juice or chopping garlic.

Peeling, chopping, mixing and blending are all tedious, time consuming kitchen tasks that can really take the joy out of cooking. Everything from chopped onions and minced garlic can all be prepared in 10 seconds or less. Magic Bullet cups are microwaveable and safe, which means you, can actually cook in them.

Here?s what I got:
1. High-Torque Power Base as size as small coffee maker, where you can bring anywhere, even in your handbag?if you like to wear large handbag, hobo or sling bag to your office or to a restaurant. Note: this idea can only be used if you are a really frugal or brave person who doesn?t care what people say. If you like sitting in the restaurants or coffee shops, just bring your own fruits or coffee, and of course your Magic Bullet in your handbag, ask the waitress where the electrical power is and plug in your Magic Bullet. Tada! You can make your own juice or café ocha, cappuccino or Iris coffee in a second while your friends are getting sleepy waiting for their orders to come. It?s also cheap because you just need to pay the restaurant table and ambience (bhua?hahah?ahha?just kidding).
2. Tall Cup and Short Cup?these cups are used to mix, cook and store your ingredients. They are dishwasher-safe (top rack only) and microwave-safe.
3. Four Party Mugs with Comfort Lip Rings?you can make and serve frozen drinks right in the same mug.
4. Cross Blade and Flat Blade. The Cross Blade for chopping, grating and blending foods such as onions, cheeses, meats, and frozen drinks and Flat Blade for whipping cream and grinding hard foods like coffee beans and spices. The appearance is such that it could be used as one of those small hand held weapons seen thrown in Ninja movies.
5. Magic Bullet Blender and Lid
6. Magic Bullet Juice Extractor Kit. These two pieces, the extractor and plunger transform your Magic Bullet into the Magic Bullet Juicer.
7. Shaker/Steamer Tops. The Steamer top is used for steaming foods in the microwave or as shaker tops. The shaker/steamer tops with the large holes is for coarse ingredients such as Parmesan cheese, the other is for finely ground spices such as cinnamon or nutmeg.

Well, I?m not trying to sell an advertisement here Baby! This is based on my experience. The Magic Bullet is especially useful if you have a small house and don?t like clutters over your counter tops, need tools that are easy to use and clean, and come in small packages, light, and handy. ?Magic Bullet? is the answer.

Since I have my Magic Bullet I love to drink fresh juice every day. The other benefit you can get is not only that your hands and clothes won?t smell like garlic anymore, but that your husband, boyfriend or partner will love you even more. Because when you have a Magic Bullet, making fresh juice is the simplest of things to do. When you start drinking fresh juice, that helps your body stay fit and healthy. Cihuiiiii?????
