Zlittle Bird

I like watching small birds coming on my deck, through the window of our small condo. I can see birds standing, walking around back and forth looking for food or just relaxing, playing with their cute beaks, whistling some pop, slow rock, R&B music or the newest jazz music. Usually, another bird comes to join and they start talking about how hot the weather has been lately, what’s new on the political shows or how they've escaped the evil the cat terrorist around the neighborhood or what’s new on the bird movie theater tonight.

Never in my life I’ve seen a bird standing on the tree or on someone’s deck with a sad wrinkled face with head down low and wing sustaining its chin, thinking about what they want to eat today, what dress they're going to wear to the bridal shower next week, or what shoes match for the coming season. Life seems so simple and happy for the bird. "Happiness depends on your attitude on life. You are the only one can make yourself happy!" That’s the famous phrase I always hear in the midst of birds laughing and joking and gossiping on my deck.

By the way, they are all just small birds who look fragile outside, but inside they treasure the strong spirit of life, joyful or even the silliness of it. I remember one time some birds, tiptoed into my baby tomatoes and ate the leaves till bald. I was half grumpy but realized they are just birds. They are all my friends and they always make me happy every time I see them.

I learn a lot from them about happiness. A small bird that grows and matures is nurtured by God. I'm happy because I’m more valuable than the birds in the air. I’m Zlittle, I’m a cute girl with tiny build but wrapped with a strong huge spirit and hope, like eagle that never grows weary, raising it’s wings………… but I love shopping :o)
